PUBLIC NOTICE. WUNDERLICH, LIMITED. STATEMENTS having been circulated S? to the effect, that Wunderlich, Limited, is a foreign Company, and that the Managing Directors, the .Messrs. Wlinderlich, are Germans, or aliens, or foreigners, the Board of Directors declare that all such rumours are absolutely false, and notify that a writ claiming JJlOflO damages against a certain firm, whose employees are alleged to have made such injurious statements, has already been issued. The Board of Directors moke the further declaration:— The Managing Directors of the Company—Ernest, Alfred, and Otto Wunderlich—are all British born, ami of British parentage,' and they are the sons of Charles Frederick Wunderlich, a British subject, who was born in London on the 16th of December, 1821. Ernest Wunderlich, the Chairman of Directors, was born in London on the 16th of May, 1859. Dr. Otto Wunderlich, 8.A., M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P., D.P.H., Eng., was born in London on the 28th June, 1861. Alfred Wunderlich, a Justice of the Peace for the Stalte of New South Wales and Queensland, late President of the Associated Chambers of Manufactures of Australia, was born in London on tho Pth of July, 1865. *3 heir grandfather was a naturalisea British subject, and married an Englishwoman in London in the year 1615. Notarially certified copies of Birth Certificates of the Messrs. Wunderlich, of their father, the late Mr. Charles Frederick Wunderlich, and the Marriage Certificate. of their grandfather, can be seen at the office of Messrs. Allen, Allen and Hemsley, Solicitors for the Company, Martin Square, Sydney. The other member.-! of the Board are:'— The Hon. W. L. Baillien, M;L.C,, Melbourne; the Hon. Theodore Fink, Melbourne; H. P. Wormald, Esq., of Wormaid Bicf., Ltd., of Sydney—all well-known Australian citizens. The Company's employees throughout the Commonwealth and New Zealand numbered on Ist March, 1915, 401, of which 3fjn are British, mostly Australian, and 12 are naturalised British subjects of long standing. The whole of the 222,591, shares of the Ctmpany are held by 526 'Australian investors. The list of shareholders is filed annually with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies, Sydney, and can be inspected on payment of a nominal fee. There are no alien shareholders on the Register, and no' shares to the knowledge of tho Directors or Offieers are held for aliens. The Company hold a Certificate by Messrs. Allard, Way, and Hardie, Public Accountants, to this effect. The Wunderlich Steel Ceilings aTe of British material, and for over twenty years have been manufactured entirely in Australia and New Zenland from imported British. Sheet Metal. The Messrs. Wunderlich know that so far as their own large circle of friends and acquaintances are concerned, it is unnecessary to make the above declaration, but as 6taitements of the character referred.to reach far and wide, and into channels beyond their knowledge or control, they are reluctantly compelled, as Trustees for the large body of Australian Shareholders, to make public the foregoing' facts. INTIMATION IS NOW GIVEN that prompt legal proceedings will be j taken against any person giving currency to any statements reflecting upon the nationality of the Messrs.
