WHEN WILL THE WAR END?
SIR JOHN FRENCH'S OPINION PER NEW YORK PRESS. B.v Telegraph—Press Association—Copyr'ght (Rec. Juno L'O, 7.30 p.m.) London, Juno 2S. The "Times" correspondent- at New York states that prominence has been given in the New York Press to an interview with Messrs. Gordon, and Moore, described as intimate friends of Sir John French. Tho General, asked wlien the war would end, replied: "As i soon as the Allies' production of muni- | tions gives them tin superiority over | the Germans. That may be a year. Wo look for a speedy victory when these conditions are reached. The Allied armies have the men, the morale, tho money, and ten months' education. When we have the munitions, the end will bo in sight."
