COURT OF APPEAL
SOLICITOR'S CASE JOSEPH HAROLD MOORE, OP TIMARU When tlie Court of Appeal (first division) sessions commenced yesterday morning, tho bench was occupied by their Honours the Chief Justice (Sir Robert Stout), Mr. Justice Donniston, Mr. Justice Sim, and Mr. Justice Hosking. After the order of cases had been fixed, tho Court removed from the list of solicitors the name of Joseph Harold Moore, of TimaYu. A judgment liad been obtained in tho Magistrate's Court against Moore for tho sum of £34 Is. 3d., which he liad received from O'Callaghan and Le Cren, and failed to account for. Written applications to Mooro for on explanation had met with no response, and he had filed no answer to tho motion to strike his name off the roll. Costs 15 guineas were awarded the New Zealand Law Society, for whom Mr. H. F. Von Haast appeared. FINAL LEAVE TO APPEAL. Final leave to nppeal to the Privy Council was granted to the defendants in the case of the Herman Weger Company v. the Mangaone Oilfields, Ltd. Sir John Findlay, K. 0., appeared for the Mangaone Oilfields, while Mr. C. P. Skerrett, K.C., appeared for the Herman Weger Co.

Frascr, ca6e on appealThursday, July I.—J. de Renzi v. D. H. de Renzi, case on appeal. ( Friday, July 2.— H.M. the King v. Clifford Bowern, case reserved. In ro Barltrop, motion for admission. Monday, July s.—Brogan v. the Public Trustee, case on appeal. Tuesday, July 6. —Law Practitioners Act in re W. G. H. Baillie, ca6e removed. H.M. the Ring v. Rogan, case reserved. Wednesday, July 14.—Penman v. Bennie, before a Full Bench of the Bupremo Court. COOK V. DONALDSON. The case of Cook r. Donaldson, in which judgment was given by the Second Division of the Court of Appeal on Saturday, will be mentioned again before that Division at 10 o'clock this morning, as an order is required in regard to tlie matter of costs, which it was stated had been agreed upon.
