SUBMARINR EXPLOITS IN SEA OF MARMORA

BRITISH COMMANDER AWARDED VICTORIA CROSS. London, June 25. Licutenaiit-Commander Martin E. Nasmifh has been awarded the Victoria Cross for his submarine exploit in the Sea of Marmora.

It resulted in the sinking of one large Turkish gunboat, two transports, one ammunition ship, and three btore.ships, in addition to driving one storeship ashore.

Distinguished Service Crosses have also been awarded tn Lieutenant Do.vle Hughes and_ Acting-Lieutenant Robert Brown, R.N.R., and each of the crow received tho Distinguished Service Medal.
