The AVairarapa South County Council on Saturday voted £'25 towards tho Sick and Wounded Relief Funds. The Carterton Ladies' Committeo, with tho help nf the school children last week, dispatched to the Mayoress of Wellington 78 Balaclavas and 12 scarves. A quantity of clothing lias also been donated by a number ol lady residents.
