INDIA'S WORK FOR THE RED CROSS
FURTHER CONTRIBUTIONS. (By Telegraph—Press Asm.—Copyright.) Simla, June 25. At the annual meeting of the St. John Ambulance Society, £20,000 was collected. The society has also dispatched gifts to the value of £60,000 to the various theatres of war. It was announced that fresh pifts of £500 and_ ten bed hospital units had been-received from the Maharajah of Gwalior and £5000 from the Maharajah nf Jaipur.
