The secretary advises that the eni/ries are a record, being 6ome 225 ahead of last year. To show the expansion of .this show, the present year's entries exceed those of 1911 by "1620. These figures refer to.:competi•tive. exhibits only, and do not' include the exhibits of machinery and various' other details shown on the many stands and stalls. The demand for space under tho Litter headings has exceeded any .previous year. The committee are faoed with tho position that much more space is required, notwithstanding the fact "that another 1500 square-feet has 'been added recently. The total space available under cover now approximates 55,000 square feet. In addition to tlie' great jmmber of exhibits contained in the buildings, large number's, such as imotor Exhibitors, now avail themselves <oS tents, etc., on the grounds, to say nothing:-of side-shows, which are'yearly increasing in number. A feature to W introduced for the first, time this year is a fruit-grading and packing competition,'.whic!] will be held on the second 'and, third days of the show.
