MANAWATU TROTTING CLUB NGAIiAIMA WINS A DOUBLE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Palmerston North, Juno 9. The first totaiisator meeting of the 1 Manawatu Trotting Club was held to-day in fine weather, and before a large attendance. The sum of w£491l was put through tho totaiisator. Tho results are:— ° MAIDEN HANDICAP; of 30 sovs. One mile and a half. 1 Sir. H. J. Wood field's Warlock, 15sec. (Woodfield) 1 7 Halo, 12sec (Shaw) 2 5 Cobbadar, 15sec (turton) 3 Also started: 9 Bonita, 8 Bay William, 11 Inora, 11 Marinela, 11 Lylock, 4 The Weaver, 6 Tattles, 11 Rudgewood, and 12 Miss Queenie, 15sec.; 2 Lord Lytton and 10 Floral, lOsec.; 3 Sir Robert. A good race resalted between the placed horses, Warlock winning by six lengths. Time, 3min. 59 1-ssec. ° STEWARDS' HANDICAP, of 10 sovs. One mile and a quarter. 2 Mr. Garden's Prinzora, 18sec. (Barraclough) 1 11 John H., 13sec (A. Prinzora led tho first time round, followed by Silverloek and Mo.'.asta. 'In a good run home Olliver brought John H. to the front, and looked like displacing Prinzora. Prinzora, however, came again strongly, and won comfortably by three lengths. Moyasta. was fourth. Time, 3min. 12 3-ssec. Ec (Barraclough) 2 2 Irvar, 20sec (Warren) 3 Also started: 1 Resurrection. The first time round the order was i Irvar, Ngaraima, and Celtic. At the other > side of the course Ngaraiirui raced neck-and-neek with Irvar, finatly getting the ■ best of the argument. At the start, Flqval, Tango, and Sol went to the front, but Sol broke. Passing the stand the first time the order -was Tango, Sol, All Steel. At the other side both Sol and Floval broke, ljaving Tango, All Steel and Monsoon, who was coming fast, in front." Monsoon easily won by 1 two lengths. Sol was a length away third.
