9 — DEFENCE MINISTER'S APPRECIATION. The directors of the New Zealand Picture Supplies, Ltd.. have received the following letter from tho Minister of Defence (the Hon. James A lien)'"Dear Sirs,—l have to thank you for your very kindly thought in asking me to vltnv vour motion picture, entitled 'Will They Never Come? I think the exhibition o" the picture ought to impress upon those whose duty it is to enlist at this time, the necessity of complying with the demands of such duty. Recruiting has been fairly satisfactory lately; still wo have to keep the spirit goinc until tlis end of this war, and I havo lio doubt the lesson which is to be learned from your picture will help in t'hio respect.
