A MIRACULOUS ESCAPE
FRENCH ADMIRAL'S EXPERIENCE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyught (Rec. June 1, 7.15 p.m.) Paris, May 31. Rear-Admiral Guepratte, of the French naval. division in the Dardanelles, had a miraculous escape. A shell penetrated his cabin on the battleship Jaurcquiberry, missed his head by inches, and destroyed everything in his vicinity. A uniform he was about to don was torn to shreds. Rear-Admiral Guepratte emerged from his cabin scathless.
