AFFILIATION CASE. An affiliation case occupied the attention of the Coui't for some time, tho defendant, Join V/. Williams, a member of tho first force to Samoa, and now of t'lio Xladical Oorps, denying paternity. Tho case vras adjourned till May 23. PETONE COURT CASES. Mr. D G. A. Cooper, S.M., occupied the Bench at the monthly sitting of the Petone Magistrate's Court held yesterday. For allowing stock to wander, Sidney Nicholls was fined 10s. with costs 75., and Thomas Rae os., with 13s. costs. Lionel Hood, who did not appear, was charged with falsely representing himself to be 21 years of age, in order to procure liquor. He was fined 55., with costs 9s. CIVIL ACTIONS. Judgment was given for jilaintiff by default in the following undefended civil fcasestedrge Cochrane v. T. H. Instone, £2 3s. 6d., costs os.; Boden 1 and Powell v. Henry Stineon, £6 7s.
