A now company is now being formed to lake over the Point Pirio Smelting Works of the Broken Hill Proprietary Company. Messrs. Harcourt and Co., Wellington, can furnish, full particulars to applicants for shares. Mr. Castle, chemist, Newtown, has a plan whereby customers may contribute their discount coupons to the Wounded Soldiers' Fund. Such coupons carry ,1. double discount. Messrs.
