ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
FOUND DEAD IN A CREEK. (By Telegraph—Press Association.'. Chrlstchuroh, May . 10. . Mrs. Amy Arenas, aged sixty years, was found dead in a creek at Hickorj Bay, Banks Peninsula, yesterday. A number of farms—daily, sheep, fruit, and poultry—are advertised for sale in this issue by Mr. H. E. I.eigktoi), Wellington. JlessT6. Abraham and 'Williams, Ltd., Hamilton, advertise another profitable Waikato property for salo. This consists of 3000 acres, and is stated to ho equal to any land in New Zealand. The Wellington Gas Company insert an announcement in this issuo calling attention to gas for heating purposes. A now company is now being formed to lake over the Point Pirio Smelting Works of the Broken Hill Proprietary Company. Messrs. Harcourt and Co., Wellington, can furnish, full particulars to applicants for shares. Mr. Castle, chemist, Newtown, has a plan whereby customers may contribute their discount coupons to the Wounded Soldiers' Fund. Such coupons carry ,1. double discount. Messrs.
