NO EVIDENCE OF MUTILATIONS. .

Melbourne, April 23. Replying to requests for information regarding certain German atrocities, Mr. Fisher (the Prime Minister) states that the. Government has no evidencp ,beyond that contained in reports by tlie Belgian' Commission, which disclose no" deliberate practising of amputations on : Belgian children. Sir George Reid advises that the Belgian Committee has. no evidenco of alleged mutilations of Belgian males by Germans..
