SUSPENSION OF SHIPPING BETWEEN HOLLAND AND BRITAIN
AN UNEXPLAINED NOTIFICATION.
Amsterdam, 'April 22. An official British notification, has been made that all shipping between Holland and the United Kingdom is temporarily suspended, and. that it is hoped it will shortly be resumed on a-limited scrvice. . No explanation is civen.
BRITISH SUBMARINES IN HELIGOLAND BIGHT
GERMANS CLAIM TO HAVE SUNK ONE.
Berlin, 'April 22. Official. —British submarines were repeatedly observed in Heligoland Bight. German forces attacked,, sank one, and probably others. .

The High Commissioner reports:— . _ ... _ . . The arrivals and sailings bf steamships of all nationalities in the United Kingdom ports for the week ended April 21 totalled 1519. One merchant steamer and one trawler were sunk.
