HESIONE WINS THE CUP, (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Invercarglll, April 5. The first day of the Riverton Racing Club's annual' meeting was held to-day. The weather was fine but overcast, and track was heavy. The principal steeplechases were spoiled owing to numerous mishaps. The totahsator %ures were:-K1915, .814,611; 1914, ,£17,892. Golden Grape TOs tho only horse to cover the course without unseating his rider, and he baulked at one jump. Won easily. The third horse was a long way off.. Tolstoi was the only other to finish.
