PROGRESSING SATISFACTORILY,
• The little girl Kathleen O'Brien, who was knocked down by a cyclist in Cuba Street on Saturday night, is making satisfactory progress in the Hospital, OLD WAN MISSING. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Rotorua, April 5. An old man, named Langenson, father-in-law of Mr. T. J. Boyle, 3 Tennessee Station, on Atiamuri Road, 11 miles from Rotorua, has been missing since Friday morning. . He was 78 years of age, and very feeble. He is supposed to have wandered into a neighbouring swamp. ' KILLED WHILE MOUNTAIN CLIMBING Dunedln, April 5. Peroy Laing, architect, of Dunedin, who had been staying at Queenstovm, was found dead near Ben Lomond saddle yesterday. He went up the mountain on Friday with the objeot of scaling the peak, hut did not return. Search parties were instituted and the body was found .yesterday afternoon. His wife and child wore- alw> staying in Queenstown. Deceased was about 60 years of age. At the. inquest a verdict was returned that death was due to a fall while in delicate health and to exposure. FARMER'S SUDDEN DEATH. *' Rotorua, April 5. James M'lldowie, aged 60, a farmer from Poverty Bay, was found in a lit on a seat by the roadside near the lake yesterday afternoon, and died in a few minutes. ' A medical certificate was given that death was duo to hearfailure. WOMAN'S SUDDEN DEATH'. . Chrlstofiurch, April 5 Blanche Ma Bell, wife of T. J. Beh. died suddenly.
