THIRD DAYS' PLAY

The Wellington Bowling Centre's Belgian Pairs Tournament ivas continued on the local greens in perfect weather yesterday. It was the third day of section play, and only the final games have now to be decided. These will commence at the Wellington Club's green at 9 a.m. to-day, and a conclusion will be arrived at by the close of the afternoon. Those concerned in the semi-finals are Benzie (Je Hiwi), Hemingway (Victoria), Gray Wburn), and Barnes (Hataitai). Tj>e following are the results of yes. terday's play:—

The Palmerston Easter Bowling Tournament concluded to-dav in glorious weather. The finals resulted as under:— Pairs—Hewatt (Pahiatua) beat Young (Palmerston), 25—6. The rink match final was won by Carterton, who defeated Wellington by 23 to 20 after an exciting game. I HUTT BADGES.
