KOROMIKO! • ' ■ As the Union Company's turret steamer Koromiko was 'backing out from the Kailway Wharf, bound for Newcastle, yesterday morning, the-southerly-wind caught her and slewed her bow on to. the wharf. The result was that several:of the vessels bow plates were bent and. damaged. The Koromiko was navigated clear-of - the wharf -as quickly as possible, however, but her troubles were not at an end. When endeavouring to berth her again, , the vessel's stern oamo in violent 1 contact with the Railway Wharf, and some plates in that part of the ship were damaged.- Sub- 1 sequentjy the Koromiko was tied up without further damage, and later on was re-. | moved to Clyde Quay Wharf for repairs.
