Until recently chemists could supply bisurated' magnesia in powder form only, half n teaspoohfuli of which, taken in a little water after moals, aLmost instantly stops all fermentation and neutralises acid, but sufferers from stomach troublo will bo glad to learn that, after a long series of experiments, a leading firm of manufacturing chemists has now succeeded in producing a 5-grain mint-flavoured tablet and also tin effervescent tablet, both of which combino all the valuable antacid properties of tho ordinary bisurnted magnesia in a very convenient form. Theso new tablet; of bisnrated magnesia can now be obtained of chemists everywhere and many physicians aro already prescribing them instead of the powder form. —Advt.
