DISASTER TO THE MANCHESTER ... COMMERCE. (Rec. October 30, 1.10 a.m.) ■ London, October 29. A survivor of the Manchester Commerce disaster (sunk by a Gorman mine off the North of Ireland) states the shock stunned everybody by the impact. The sea was rough, and the vessel sank in seven minutes. Thirty 'of the survivors wsre crowded into a boat, and suffored severely from exposure for twenty-four hours. In connection with the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand and the Archduchess five of those implicated were sentenced to death. The Federal authorities are communicating with the British Government asking' whether the Washington Government would undertake not to reexport from tho United States any Australian wool. . Pending a reply the Minister for External Affairs is issuing no permits for the export of . wool to America. ,
