JUNIOR ITVE-A-SIDE MATCHES.

It was originally intended that a team representing tbe Expeditionary Force would play Wellington representatives on Saturday afternoon. On account of the sports at Newtown Park, however, the match was abandoned. The tournament resulted as under:— First Round.—Y.M.C.A. A defeated Karori B; Brooklyn B defeated Karon A; Island Bay defeated Brooklyn A; Petone defeated Star B; Marist A defeated Swifts A; Marist B defeated Star A; Y.M.C.A. B defeated B; Institute, a bye. Second Bound.—Y.M.C.A. A defeated Brooklyn B; ' Island Bav defeated Petono; Marist A defeated Star A; Y.M.C.A. B defeated Institute. Third Round.—Y.M.C.A. B defeated Marist A; Island Bay defeated Y.M.C.A. A. Final.—lsland Bay played Y.M.C.A. B in the final, and after a good gamo they defeated thoir opponents by three goals and a, comer kick to one goal.
