WOVEY CHOLERA BELTS WANTED. , Her Excellency the Countess of Liverpool has been officially advised, with regard to cholera belts, that woven ones only are asked for. It is desired that oil contributions of socks and cholera belts should bo sent direct to Her Excellency the Coantess of Liverpool, Government House,. Wellington, marked ''Queen Mary's Appeal." At the same time Her Excellency desires to acknowledge tho following gifts received during the week ending October 3: —Dr. Levinge, Christchurch, 10 dozen pairs of 60cks; Mrs. Lindo Ferguson, Dunedin, 1 pair of socks; Anonymousj 1 pair socks; Mrs. Morrison, Rarotonga, Cook Islands, 4 cholera belts: Miss B. Scott, Thames, 12 pairs or 6ocksj. Mrs. Sinclair Thompson, The Crossing, Geraldine, 12 pairs of socks; Mrs. Esam, Marten,' 6 pairs of socks;. Mrs. Connis and Mrs. Calder, Auckland, 2 helmets, 10 pairs of cuffs; Anonymouß, 1 pair of socks; Sister Peter, Christchurch, 8 pairs of socks; Mrs. Hamilton, 35 Myrtle Orescent. 1 dozen pairs of socks and 2 cholera belts; Anonymous, 6 cholera belts; Miss A. Johnson.
