The Right Hon. W. F. Massey (Prime Minister) left for Auckland by last evening's express, in order to be present at the official farewell to the Auck-. land section of the Expeditionary Force this afternoon. Messrs. Myers, Bradney, Dickson, Harris, Coates, and Payne also left for Auckland by the same train. Mr. Massey will leave Auckland on his return to Wellington to : iiiglit. Hie Honour Mr. Justice Stringer returns to Wellington from the south this morning. The Rev. Dr. Gibb, of St. John'e Presbyterian Church, is returning to Wellington from Dunedin on Thursday, morning by steamer Westralia. Mr. A. R. Atkinson, a past president' of the New Zealand (Sub, was cordially Welcomed back from his trip to England at yesterday's luncheon. The death is recorded from. Forty-Mile Bush of Mr. F. W. Father Kehoa wae a native of Dublin; where he received part of his education, completing it in the Irish College at Rome, where he for a time occupied the position of vice-president. Mr. J. B. Mawson, of the PaJmersten North High School teaching staff, has accepted a position on tho staff of the Wellington Boys' College.
