The army is divided into—(l)' tho Mold army and its supply resorvo, 200,000; fortress, detached troops and other details, 180,000. Tli© hold; army is organised in six territorial infantry divisions, 4 of which have 3 brigades and 2 have 4 brigades. Tho weaker divisions avorago 670 officers, a little under 26,000 other ranks; the stronger ones 820 officers, 32,000 otber ranks. Thoro are 2 independent cavalry divisions, total 376 officers, 7848 other ranks, 8388 horses; total, 4718 officers; 175,579 other ranks; tho supply reesrvo brings the grand total up to 200,000. Fortress troops:—Antwerp, 90,000; Liege, 25,000; Huy, 5000; several small posts, detached and special troops, gendarmerie and small special bodies bring up the-.total t0'380,000. The artillery organisation is divisional, and the cavalry divisions have each a brigade , division of two horse batteries. There is. a siege train, etc., the army being well equipped in all respects. Luxemburg is to have a local "delaying force," with a war establishment of 30,000, raised locally.
