Mr. Cook's | manifesto refers to Mr. ■ Fisher's statement that Australia -is facing the war calmly, and that a finan- ! uial crisis has been ayoided. It uses this argument that,_ in order to ensure ■! a continuance of this wise,/ adequate, ' and enlightened administration in such a' crisis, it is better 'to leave, the present Government in office than to lace the ohances and changes' of a new Administration. It enlarges upon the economio and. financial difficulties arising out of the war, and urges the need for unity without and within, and concludes that a wrong choice at this time may be irretrievable..
