: ALLEGED FAILURE'TO ACCOUNT • FOR MONEY , . Mr. D. G. A. Cooper, S'.M., presided over a sitting of the Magistrate's Court on Saturday monibig. ■ Leslie Alfred "Walker appeared in uniform, to..answer, a charge of having received -the sum' of £146 at Levin on May 19 on terms requiring him to account for the same to George Basaltine. Scott, ; and omitting .to account for £120 of that. Accused was remanded to Wednesday next, bail being allowed in £150 with two sureties of £75.. Mary Barclay was fined £1 or three clays' imprisonment ■ for drunkenness, and similar penalties for two breaches of her prohibition order. For drunkenness Samuel Telfer and Michael John MuWioYlsmd wore fined £1 or three days' imprisonment. For drunkenness two first offenders were dealt with,,
