, VERDICT FOR PLAINTIFFS. By Telegraph— Viees Association—Copyright (Reo. August 28, 9.10 p.m.) Sydney, August 28. The full Court has dismissed the appeal against the payment of £200 to Mr. Osborne, a member, and Mr. Jones, an ex-member of Parliament, ia connection with tihe sale of the Boorabil Estate to the Government, on the ground that the appeal was on the score of ■ publio policy, and that plaintiffs, as members of Parliament, were nbt entitled to payment of commission and expenses. ' .., ■
majority of the Court held that •plaintiffs' action was not illegal. Mr. Justice Gordon dissented, holding that members of Parliament, by, using influence with Ministers of tihe Crown for monetary consideration, were acting against the public policy. !.
