A wireless message las been received from Captain Clayden, of B.M.S. Arawa, stating that ho expected tho vessel to arrive at Wellington from London l , via Cape Town and Hobart, at noon, to-day. The Arawa will berth at the King's Wharf to land passengers and discharge cargo. THE 'FRISCO STEAMERS. Leaving Sydney at 3 p.m. on Saturday for San Francisco, via way ports, Jt.M.S. Moana had 11 ilrst, three second, and seven third-class passengers on board for Weilington. In. addition the vessel is carrying fivo first, 13 second and 125 third-class passengers to Island ports, and San Francisco. ' - ... Captain Neville, of R.M.S. Willochra, has advised by wirelcssHhat he expects to reach Wellington on Thursday morning, July 16. Included in the vessel's 1350 tons of cargo (which is to be' landed here), are 844 tons of fruit consigned to Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. ThoTe are ,65 through passengers to Sydney on board the Willochra. WALKURE RETURNS TO PORT.' Since her arrival in New Zealand waters tho German steamer Walkure has been considerably delayed, and now news of further inconvenience .to her' owners has come to hand. In the first instanco the steamer was compelled to come on to' Wellington from New Plymouth to liavo her bailors repaired. This work entailed considerable expense, and tho Walkure was tied up at Clyde Quay Wharf for nearly throe weeks. Subsequently she left hero for Westport 1 to take in bunker 't.ftl prior to proceeding to Makatea Island to load phosphates for Hamburg. When the vessel arrived ■ off Westport Bar on Wednesday, July 8, she was prevented from negotiating the entrance <jn account of had weather. From last Wednesday till Sunday afternoon tho .Walkure has been in tlis roadstead. During this, time, it is understood, she lost an anchor and about,9o fathoms of cable ohain, and in addition has unstained some damage to her windlass. The Homo liner Wniwera is scheduled to leave the Glasgow Wharf, Wellington, for l'-anflon, via Teneriffe, at an early hour this morning; On account of having been delayed on the West Coast the cargo carrier Flora will not arrive at Wellington from soutn-' eru ports till Tuesday, July 21. ..She will leave for Picton, Westport, and Grevmouta the same' day. After having been detained at Westport by bod weather for two days tho ManouVika managed to clear, that port for Wellington at 1 p.m. vesterday. Tho Pateena took the Mapourika's run to Picton last eyoning, arid then, went on to Nelson. Tho Pateena -will leave Nelson at 10 a.m., and Picton : at 7 p m., to-day for Wellington. , The Warrimoo will land 350 tons of north-ern-cargo at Wellington to-day, and will sail for Melbourne, via tho south, at 5 p.m. ( Cargo for Dunedin, Oarnaru, and Timaru will be loaded at Wellington by tho Corinna to-morrow. The Mokoia, which leaves hero for Lyttelton and Dunedin on Thursday, will not take southern freight.
