H.Mi.; TORCH AT MALEKULA.. By Telegraph—Press Association—OopyrleM Sydney, July 18. Advices from Noumea report tho arrival of tho Frenoh warship Kersaint. She visited Malekula in company with H.M.S. Torch on July. 4 in order to chastise, the natives for recent murder. A company of the Torch's marines was landed without resistance, and proceeded through the bush, where the natives attacked. There were several skirmishes. - Four, native troops wore Wounded, and one Malekula native captured.
