COMING SESSION'S PROGRAMME. (Br TeleZT!W>h.~PreEß Association.) Dunetlln, May 29. In tho Garrison Hall this evening Mr.* Massoy addressed a crowded lioueo on a largo number of political questions, liis speech being mainly on the lines of those in tho south earlier in tho -week. He outlined the programme of the coming session as in his Invercargill epeejh promising among other things amendments in the industrial law and also in the licensing law, electoral law, and also in legislation affecting education. The Prime Minister also promised further legislation to encourage the fruit industry. An Asiatic Immigration Bill would also bo . brought _ down which would stop the immigration of Asiatics to this'country. A. motion, of thanks and confidence and.pledging the meeting to support the Massey Government was proposed and seconded. ■' An amendment of thanks to Mr. Massoy. for his address, but expressing; disapproval of the tactics adopted' by the Government to capture the Treasury-benches, as such wero calculated to ; demoralise party politics was proposed but the motion was carried by a very large majority. " ■ ■
