'Robertsoji, to a cheque for £10 10s., drawn on tho National Bank of Neiv Zealand, 'IV Aro branch, and uttering the samo t<> Xorman Williamson., (3) Ch May 22, forging the namo of J. Cf. Robertson to a choquo for £12 10s., drawn on the National Dank of Now Zealand, To Aro branch, and uttering the s-aftie to Harold Hanks. Chief Detective Brot.verg stated that tlie accused had been arrested on Friday afternoon. There .was a likelihood of two other charges being preferred against him, and ho (the chief detcctivo) therefore desired a remand till May 27. The remand was granted.
