Dalgety and Company, Ltd.,-Pal-mcrston North,, report havmc a small entry of-ehecp-and a fair yarainj-of cattle at their Palmerston North pale on Thursday, which sold as below :--Mixed age ewes running with Komne.v rams, to 16a.:-smail mixod weaners, Zis. to 255. 6d.; mixed weanors. fair, to 325. 6d.: good weaner heifers, to £2: empty store-cows,',-£2 ISs;; forward cows, to £4 145.: licht fat cows, £5 10s; to £6. Abraham and Williams, • Ltd., tcport:—We held our weekly sale at" Palmorston North on Thureday, and offered a fair yarding of sheen and cattle. -Sheep eold readily, but cattle were .hard to auit, weaners particularly showinc a decline on lato rates. Sheep: Forward empty ewes, 12s. 9d. to 15s.' 9d.: small two-tooth, ewes, 133. 5d.; two-tooth wethers, 14s. 7d. to 14s. 9d.; Rood woolly lambs, 13a. 7d.; others, 9s. 6d. to lis. 9d.
