Tho Archbishop of Canterbury (Dr. Davidson), speaking at a meeting of tho Society for the Propagation of the Gospel, made reference to- tho Kikuyu incident. He said that everyone was looking forward to tho formation of an African Church'in God's good time. They must not transplant into Central Africa tho Church life of the sectional and sub-sectional denominations which ewo thoir origin to the idiosyncrasies of the people of tho seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, nor must they contravene the Nicene' Creed. They must preserve tho ideal 'of the olio Catholic arid Apostolic Church.
