BATTLE CRUISERS RACE IN THE CHANNEL
H.M.S. NEW ZEALAND "A BAD FOURTH." By Telesraph—Press Association—Copyright "Times" end Sydney "Sun" Services. London, April 22. The' battle-cruisers Lion, Queen Mary, Princess Royal, and New Zealand, started level in the Channel, and attained full speed as quickly as possible. The New Zealand was quickly distanced. All were nearly hidden by the walls of water forced up in front of the floating fortresses, which sternly raced for the Channel championship, Queen Mary eventually being first, followed by the Lion and Princess Royal, tho New Zealand being a bad fourth.
