The prosecution withdrew the charges owing to witnesses refusing to sustain their ovidenco in consequence of tcrrorisation by tho accused. The. collapse is regarded as tho greatest triumph the anarchists have yet achieved. Tho authorities are- being soverely criticised for releasing tho accused on bail pending their trial. 1 PLEADER ASSASSINATED. Caloutta, April 22. Babu' Jagat Chandra Ghoso, a leading pleader.at Chittagong, was shot dead while dining at his residence. The assassin escaped.
