OTAGO LAOIES' TOURNAMENT. (By Telejrraph.-Prese Association.) Dunedln, April 22. Tho open eharnpionsbip tournament of the Otago Ladies' Golf Club was commenced here to-day, when two qualifying rounds were played. Qualifying rounds: Mrs. M'Carthy (St. Clair), first round 05, second round 92, total 187 • Miss K.-Rattray (Otaso), 06—08—]!)4; Jliss Thcomin, 08—07—195; Mrs. Orbell (Oamaru), 09—07—196; Jliss Fisher (ChrisMiurch), 102—0-1—19B;' Mrs. Sargdod (Otago), 98—101—199: Mrs. Cohen (Ofago), 102—106—208. Mrs. Buckley (Oamaru) put up a gross total of 200, coming seventh, but was disqualified for drivine off a irrong tee. Mrs. C. TV. Rattray and Mrs. Allen (each 209) will play off t holes 10-rnor-row" morning fory>iglitb/place. In conjunction with tho first round a medal handicap and challenge cup was played. , Mrs. 'Sargood. gross 98, handicap 19, net 70, proved tho winner. To-day the first 'round of tlio championship and a bogy "handicap will bo played.
