GREYTOWN FARMERS' UNION.
The annual meeting of the Greytown Branch of the New Zealand Farmers' Union was held in the Fire Brigade Hall on Saturday afternoon, last, Mr. H. Morison (Masterton) being in the clair. Tho secretary (Mr. Hobonton) read his report and statement of funds. A , 'remit in. reference to the Territorial encampment was moved, recommending that it take place after-the first weefi in Juno, instead of in May. The new local committee is Messrs. L. Thompson, H. Cook; B.'Burch, W. WorkmarK E. 1 Skeet, C' H. Qayfer.'H. Morison, F. J. "White, Jas. Pattersen, and • W. W. Bicknell. Messrs. B. Burch _ and H. Morison ivere elected to the Wairarapa executive. It was decided that the local committee meet on .Tuesday even-, ing as.required. There are.62 members on tho local roll, and 665 on the Waira- ■ Tapa general roll. At the conclusion of tho meeting Mr. H. Morison (Masterton) gave an address of interest to those present, for which he receiyed a hearty vote of thanks.'
