Lord Willoughby da Broke (Unionist) presided at a gathering at Bournemouth to welcome two of the South African deported Labour loaders as a protest against any' British subject being deported'without trial.
Lord Hugh Cecil (Unionist) telegraphed that ho was unable to attend, but that ho disapproved of illegal, tyrannical deportations.
