LAST DAYS OF THE CONGRESS,

The concluding sessions of the private conference- in connection with the Sal,+*tion Army Territorial Congress were held yesterday. Commissioner Richards presided, and was supported by Lieutenant Colonel Powley. In the evening officers and soldiers gathered in the Citadel, Vivian Street, where a vocal and instrumental programme was given. During the day the new maternity home in Kensington Street was opened. Today will witness tho closing of tho' Congress. At 3 p.m. the Hon. F. M. B. lusher will open tho William Booth llecsorial Training College and other speakers at the function will probaby bo: Tho Prime Minister (the Hon. \V. F. Massoy), the Hon. H. D. Bell, Sir John Findlay, and the Mayor (Mr. J. P. Luke). In the evening the Congress will he brought to a conclusion witli a spectacular demonstration in tho Town Hall when the forty London International delegates will be farewelled.

There are G2 miles of tunnels in the fortified rock at Gibraltar.
