Perceval, reports that investigation disclosed that Mr. , B.entbn's death was not due to revolver shots. ! ' - ■.-■■- ••Mr; Perceval does not state the exact cause of death, but it is believed ho wishes to infer that Mr. Benton died from stab wounds. He adds that Mr. Benton appeared unarmed before General Villa, the leader of tho rebels. ■ Mri Perceval further reports that Mr, Bonton disregarded the advico of his wife and friends, and visited General Villa unarmed. 'A scuffle occurred in Villa's office, and perfect quiet followed. , Mr. Benton's body later was removed.
