Tho question of removing the quarantine restrictions on shipping fiom Now Zealand-is still unsettled, as no recommendation has been made by tlio Health Officer, Doctor Cumpston. Until more definite information is received as to the nature of two cases in the >\\a\kato district, reported yesterday, tlio present restrictions are to continue.
