Ottawa, December 21. Tho Dominion Government has altered tho Canadian oil leaso contracts by inserting certain clauses the oil wells for the oxclusivo use of the British Admiralty iu war time.
In view of tho extensive oil areas in Western Canada, this reservation is of high importance to tho Imperial Navy.
