When tho second train from Palmerston was approaching Danucvirke, J. Brown, milkman, who was returning lwmc, allegedly attempted to cross 111 front ■of the train. His horse swerved, and tho eur. gino struck the cart; throwing Brown about thirty yards. Brown died 011 tho way to the hospital from fracture of the skull. Tho horse was also killed, and tho trap smashed to matchwood. • Der ceased had traversed the road daily for years.
