The State Sawmill at Kakahi yesterday was robbed of £400, mostly in cheques, some for large amounts, including one of £lo(). Details arc not yet available. TOOK POISON. Auckland, September 2(5. A married woman, Mrs. J. L. Anderson, a resident of Opotiki, committed suicide on Tuesday by talcing poison. She was tlie mother of eight children, the youngest nine months old, and had been in ill-health for some time.
