OPENING OF SEASOX. A restricted opening of the bowline season will take plan! to-da.v. The two cluhs which havo derided to start early and so give their members a long season aro the Karori and Scatoun Clubs. Jho latter club will be opened bv Mr. }V.'H. D. 8011, 51.P. Kinks representing tho various city and suburban clubs will attend the little ceremonies both at Scatoun and Karori. EASTP.OUKXE CLUB. At the annual mooting of the Eastbourne Bowling Club the election of officers resulted as under:—President, Mr. C. Russell; vice-presidents, Messrs. T. W. F. Marsdeu, W. J. Simpson, and H. \V. Shortt; committee, Messrs. M'Keegan, Stephen, and J. Morris; delegate to the Dominion Bowling Centre, Mr. T. \V. I'ilcher; lion. secretary, Mr. F. J. Chittev (re-elected). SEATOUX CLUB'S OPEXIXG. The Seatoun howling and tennis grounds will bo opened this afternoon at 2.20 p.m. by Mr. \V. PI. D. Bell, M.P. Considerable improvements have been effected to tho grounds, and tho bowling green is now one of tho best in the district.
