SIMPLON TUNNEL TO BE BLOCKED. Br Tclcsraph—Prerei Association—OopjTlslit (Sydney "Sun" Special—July 13, 6.30 p.m.) Berne, July 12. The Swiss Government has adopted an unusual protection against invasion. In tho event of invasion tho mechanism of a heavy iron door at the Swis3 entrance of the Simplon tunnel will bo dislocated and the door closed', thus blocking trains from Italy for many hours.
