I Mr. Bell: They have done well even'in. this regard. Just wait till tho Financial Statement comes down. You will find that Mr. Allen's reecnt .loan has been raised in London on better terms than any other recent colonial loan. A voice: And not short-dated! Mr. Bell: "No; it was not 6hort-datod. Money has been 'tight,' but any business man in the city will tell you that things are over so much better than thev wcro, and there is a good timo coming.'
