SENIOR CADETS' BAND.
The entertainment whicli is being given by the Orphans Olub in aid of the Senior Cadets' Band, in the Town Hall on Wednesday evening next, promises to be a fine musical treat. Among the artists will be Mr. Herbert Bloy, the well-known violinist, and Mr. Borneo Gardiner, aiffleur, who is at present on a Visit to Wellington,'and who will make his last appearance at this. concert. There is prospect of a large attendance, it being reported that the booking: has been heavy. The following have signified their intention of being present:—Sir Robert Stout and Lady Stout, Sir Wm. Hall-Jones and Lady Hall-Jones, Sir John Findlay ond Lady Findlay, Colonel tho Hon. James Allen and Jus. Allen, tho Hon. A. L. Hordraan and Mrs. Herdman, Colonel E. S. Heard and Mrs. Heard, Colonel Campbell and Mrs. Campbell, Colonel R. J. Collins and Mrs. Collins, LieutenantColonel H. 0. Knox and Mrs. Knox, Lieu-tenant-Colonel 1 and Mrs. Myers, Major and Mrs. Pilkington, Major and Mrs. Hughes, and Captain and Mrs. Bstcousrt.
