In tho probato Division of the High Court of Justice tho hearing of the objection of Mr. Malcolm Scott to the granting of probato of tho will of his brother. Sir John Murray Scott, was continued. Sir Edward Carson, K.C., in representing Lord and Lady Saekvllle, and tlie Right Hon. F. E. Smith, Iv.C., is counsel for Mr. Malcolm Scott. Mr. Smithy mado a nine hours' speech. Ho read a letter in which Lady Sackville called Sir John "Dear Old Seory," Ho called her "Dear Old Jose." She bitterly upbraided him for breaking his promise by altering tho vill after twelve years' friendship. Sir John replied that he had promised nothing, but that he had treated her not illiberally. Mr. Smith mentioned that Sir John's gifts to her ladyship had totalled .£B4IOOO during ten years.
