AEROS FOR AUSTRALIA.
PROBLEM OP ATMOSPHERE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, June 25. The Commonwealth's two B.E. biplanes, of the newest type of Army machine, will shortly be tested at Farnborough. They will be shipped in three weeks' time. Two air mechanics will sail for Australia on July i and 18 respectively. It .is stated that according to tho latest expert opinions, experiments in Australia, owing to drier and lighter atmosphere, may 6how tho need for greater lifting power, inasmuch as a machine perfectly serviceable in England may not necessarily respond to conditions in Australia. It is anticipated that the utilisation of the best type, with more powerful engines and possibly a, greater wing area, may prove successful.
